About this page
Catena Omnia sets a chapter of Scripture beside every commentary fragment this project holds on it, oldest voice first — each excerpt carrying its author, work, date, extent, edition and rights, and nothing shown whose rights forbid showing it.
The chain is assembled in your browser, from the same tracked records the project's checks replay; no chapter is pre-rendered. This edition of the page therefore needs JavaScript: if scripts do not run here, the chapter and its commentary cannot be shown, and nothing in this section will change.
The editions the fragments are cut from are catalogued in the Source Library, and the rest of the site — Scripture, liturgy, history, law — is reachable from the links in the footer below and from the site's own entrance.
